Calamity-Proof Container House Now Available in the Country for PHP170K

PREFAB – Affordable and calamity-proof container houses are now available in the Philippines for PHP170,000.

These 18-square-meter houses can withstand earthquakes, typhoons, and fires. The prefab container houses are gaining popularity due to their value for money, providing quality without significant expense.

John Lam of Zhongjian Prefab Container Houses PH introduced this product to the Philippines after its success in China. The company initially used these prefab containers for temporary offices and barracks on construction sites. During the pandemic, they were repurposed as COVID hospitals and are now becoming popular for residential use.

According to John Lam, the standard container takes only one day to build, making it a quick and efficient alternative to conventional construction. Once built, the container is ready for use without the need for additional finishing. Priced at PHP170,000, it offers a basic 18-square-meter living space and is more cost effective than traditional construction methods.

The construction materials primarily consist of steel for the main frame, with pre-painted and galvanized components, making the wall panels fire-retardant. The prefabricated construction method minimizes waste, reducing environmental impact.

Measuring three meters wide and 5.95 meters long, the container houses use double-layered glass for windows, contributing to sound and heat insulation. The houses are designed to be earthquake-resistant, typhoon-resistant, and fire-retardant, capable of withstanding a magnitude 7 earthquake.

The basic unit includes two windows, one door, two standard electrical outlets, two lights, a breaker, and an aircon outlet. Additionally, customers have the option to include an all-in-one toilet and bath with fiberglass flooring.

Zhongjian Prefab Container Houses PH also offers customization options based on client preferences and available space. Interested individuals can contact the company via their Facebook page for more information. The container houses can be combined for larger spaces, and a two-story model is available, showcasing the flexibility and versatility of these innovative living spaces.
