Broadcaster Mon Tulfo was scammed by his ex-lover
MON TULFO – The seasoned broadcaster has openly admitted to falling victim to a scam orchestrated by his ex-lover, Maria Isabel Galindez, who lured him into a fraudulent business venture. In a Facebook post, Tulfo issued a public apology to the clients of RTT Livelihood-1Naturaleza networking company and Ramon T. Tulfo Cargo, acknowledging that he too had been duped.
Despite his seasoned career as a broadcaster, Tulfo confessed to being blinded by the persuasive tactics of his former lover, also known as Bel Galindez or Sabel Ysabel. He revealed that their past romantic involvement played a significant role. Tulfo, in a self-deprecating manner, mentioned being ridiculed by friends and relatives for trusting someone perceived as unattractive.
Tulfo candidly admitted to being captivated by Galindez’s deceitful charm, describing her as a scammer and a swindler. He acknowledged that he had become a pawn in her schemes, obediently following her instructions.
Believing in Galindez’s proposal, Tulfo joined her in establishing the RTTL-1Naturaleza networking company, intending to help others find dignified employment. However, he later discovered that the business, funded with his hard-earned money, was unsuccessful due to Galindez’s reckless spending.
“Ako at ang pangalang Tulfo ang dahilan na nakakuha siya ng perang ipinundar sa negosyo. Perang pinaghirapan ko all these years. Lingid sa aking kaalaman, di kumita ang aming negosyo dahil waldas si Bel sa pera. Masakit mang aminin, si Bel ay marami palang sinusuportahang lalaki,” he said.
Reflecting on the situation, Tulfo realized he had unknowingly become Galindez’s ‘sugar daddy,’ financing her indulgences. He learned about her illness only from her relatives, acknowledging that the company had gone bankrupt due to her extravagant misuse of funds.
It’s noteworthy that Tulfo, who actively promoted the company, was even labeled as its CEO in some marketing materials. The revelation sheds light on the personal and financial repercussions Tulfo faced as a victim of a fraudulent business scheme orchestrated by someone he had once trusted intimately.
