Kitchie Nadal gave birth to her second child last November 17, 2023
KITCHIE NADAL – The Filipina singer recently revealed that she and her husband Carlos Lopez welcomed their second child last November.
Sharing a video on her social media account, the singer said that she gave birth to her second child last November 17, 2023 and she also revealed that her son’s full name is Iago López Nadal.
It was in 2015 when Kitchie got married to Carlos and she’s wearing a wedding dress that cost PHP 799 at that time. The couple welcomed their first child named Keon in 2017.
In the caption of her social media post, the Filipina singer said that her second child’s name is derived from Santiago – the patron saint of Galicia and Spain as a whole.
“Nov 17, 2023 Iago López Nadal,” she said in the caption of her post.
According to her, it is believed that Santiago started preaching the gospel in the northern Spanish region of Galicia. She added that Santiago is revered as the patron saint of Galicia and of Spain as a whole because of this reason.
Aside from the video, Kitchie posted photos of her second child with his grandmothers and geotagged it to Madrid, Spain. The Filipina singer also shared another photo with her husband and their child outdoors. She then said “Iago’s 3rd day, and 1st day outdoors,” in the caption of her social media post.
Kitchie Nadal is the hitmaker behind the hit songs “Same Ground”, “Huwag Na Huwag Mong Sasabihin”, “Makulay na Buhay”, and “Bulong !!!”
To recall, it was in 2022 when she headlined “Tanaw” – a concert featuring fellow women rockstars Acel Bisa, Barbie Almabis, Lougee Basabas, and Hannah Romawac. Following its success, they had a 2nd show titled “Tanawin” that same year.
