HERLENE BUDOL – The actress-beauty queen is set to release a single titled “Kain Tayo” following a recent issue with her Magandang Dilag co-star, Rob Gomez.
On December 28, 2023, the reigning Miss Philippines Tourism 2023, shared her newfound interest in music. Moving away from her established career in modeling, pageantry, and acting, Budol announced on Instagram that she is taking voice lessons, a pursuit encouraged by her former manager, Wilbert Tolentino. Despite ending their managerial relationship, Tolentino remains a steadfast supporter, urging her to explore this artistic avenue.
Expressing gratitude to Tolentino in her Instagram post, Budol acknowledged his unwavering support through thick and thin. She shared images from her initial voice lesson, captioning them with a reflection on the joy she has found in music. Budol happily exclaimed, “Masaya pala ang Musika.” Guided by a coach from Kimusikero Music Worship Tutorial, she plans to explore various musical genres, including Jazz, Pop, Ballad, Blues, Rock, Hip hop, Classical, Electro, New age, and Reggae.
