Rocco Nacino on being first-time dad
ROCCO NACINO – The Kapuso actor recently opened up about being a first-time dad to his son, Ezren Raffaello.
It can be recalled that Rocco Nacino and his wife Melissa Gohing got married in January 2021, announced the pregnancy in May 2022, and welcomed their first child in October 2022.
The Kapuso actor appeared on Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where he opened up about being a first-time dad.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Rocco said he had so many realizations after building his own home. He shared that the value of family is different to him now that he’s a father to his son.
According to him, he and his parents have become closer since he built his own home and having a son gives him different pleasure every time he goes home. He also shared that he prefers staying at home in order to take care of his son.
“Ako po ‘yung taong ayaw naka-stay lang sa bahay, gusto ko laging po may ginagawa,” the actor said. “Ngayon po, gusto ko nasa bahay ako, inaalagaan ‘yung anak ko, minsan naka-shorts lang ako, hindi na ako nakadamit basta maalagaan ko lang anak ko, makita ko siya kasama ‘yung asawa ko, iba ‘yung purpose at meaning ng buhay para sa’kin.”
The actor previously starred in Kapuso series “The Missing Husband” and is set to reprise his role as “Aquil” in the Encantadia spin-off, “Sang’gre: Encantadia Chronicles.”
In the same interview, Rocco said that he plans to get fitter in the coming year so he can continue working. He shared that he has been working out and he’s enjoying it, but maintaining it would be the difficult part for him.
According to him, he manifested that he can get the physique that he wants so he can get more jobs.
To recall, Rocco shared an advice for first-time dads like him. At that time, the actor told first-time dads to always be snappy when duty calls and assist their partner out in taking care of their baby.
