The first step is that you need to register as a user of the portal before you can start your merchant application. Make sure that you’re using your business email and mobile number for your application.
After that, you need to login your account and activate it on the portal. You will be redirected to the portal’s Merchant Registration page once done.
The next step is to register on the portal as a merchant. To do this, you need to select the type of business you want to register on the Merchant Registration page and the requirements needed will be shown upon selection.
After that, you need to input the business information and provide details on Authorized Signatory.
Next, you need to upload the business documents as stated in the requirements and select the service or product you wish to avail. Keep in mind that each service have its own specific forms that need to be filled.
The next step is to nominate authorized users – administrator and user – and have the list approved by the authorized signatories. After that, you need to review the application details and submit it once done.
GCash will then review your application and the documents provided on the portal.
