Ellen Adarna Addresses Bashers Claiming She’s Anti-LGBT/Anti-Gay

Here’s the message from Ellen Adarna to bashers claiming she’s anti-LGBT

ELLEN ADARNA – The actress-model did not back down from some bashers who criticized her, accusing her of being anti-LGBT or anti-gay.

Derek Ramsay’s wife went viral after expressing her thoughts on “situationships,” describing it as painful and confusing, akin to the various pronouns used in the LGBTQIA+ community today. Due to Ellen’s opinion, Miss Trans Global 2020, Mela Habijan, wrote an “open letter” seemingly reprimanding Ellen, suggesting that if she had true compassion and respect, she should try to understand and learn.

To address some of the bashers, Ellen did a Q&A on Instagram Stories. One Instagram user commented, “Didn’t you know you were anti-LGBT? OMG, I am unfollowing [you].”

The model-actress responded, “Sino nagsabi? You? Fake news? My best friend since high school is lesbian; I have a lot of close friends who are gay. I’m not anti-[gay]; I love them. Na-confuse lang ako sa pronouns, anti-[gay] na? Umayos ka nga…kung gusto mo block kita.”

Another netizen commented, “They hate you now for being confused.” Ellen replied, “If you’re a follower for quite a while, I think you know, it’s obvious that I’m not a people pleaser and hate comes along with that. I’m used to it and I don’t have any problems with being hated at all; they can hate all they want. I don’t know them naman.”

Someone expressed, “Some people don’t like honest opinions.” Ellen explained, “I’m just human. I don’t like some people’s honest opinions, but I have to respect that because that’s their opinion. I will not make an issue or drama out of it because that’s theirs.” She further explained that everyone is different with different perspectives, views in life, and priorities.

@kween___g Wala atang TikTok account si Miss Ellen Adarna pero sana mas clear na sa kanya yung non-binary gender identity. I know the “non-binary” or other gender identities is confusing but giving time and effort to understand it will be easier. Kapag hindi its better to not just say anything nalang lalo na kapag negative. I know din magkakaroon ng negative comments itong video na ito kasi karamihan sa kanila hindi tinatapos video ko and will just show hate towards the community. #nonbinary #lgbt ♬ original sound – Kween G

Meanwhile, the LGBTQIA+ community is a diverse group of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, inters3x, as3xual, and other s3xual orientations, gender identities, and expressions.
