Derek Ramsay on doing bed scenes after getting married
DEREK RAMSAY – The “Kampon” actor shared that doing bed scenes after getting married to actress Ellen Adarna was “weird” for him.
The actor, who got married to actress Ellen Adarna in 2021, currently stars in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) movie titled “Kampon”.
Actress Beauty Gonzalez, who played the role of Derek’s wife in the said film, is known to be good friends with Ellen in real life.
Derek admitted in an interview with PUSH that doing intimate scenes with his female co-stars after getting married has not been as easy as before.
According to the actor, doing bed scenes after getting married are “weird” even though there are no restrictions from his wife and she’s very supportive of him. He added that Ellen is best friends with Beauty.
“Definitely the bed scenes are weird. Even though there are no restrictions from Ellen, it’s just so weird. It was really difficult for me,” he said. “Ellen doesn’t say, ‘You can’t do this, you can’t do that.’ She’s very supportive. But I don’t know, it just felt so weird.”
The actor also shared some valid points when he was asked if he would be doing fewer bed scenes in his future projects, saying that he will be more picky in his next projects and he will do intimate scenes if it’s really necessary.
He said what happened with him and his wife was just a matter of finding the right person at the right time in their lives. According to him, he and his wife are enjoying their married life as they’re going around the world, supporting each other, and making each other a better person.
Meanwhile, the actor said in an interview on “Toni Talks” that he’s semi-retiring from show business because he’s getting more picky with the projects he works on and he doesn’t want to be away from his family.
