Sharon Cuneta says Alden Richards is an ideal son-in-law
ALDEN RICHARDS – The Asia’s Multimedia Star is an ideal son-in-law according to Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
In a media conference of the film “Family Of Two (A Mother And Son Story).” Sharon Cuneta expressed her joy at working with Alden Richards, calling it as “one of the happiest experiences” in her 45-year career.
In the movie, Sharon plays Maricar, and Alden plays Mateo. The film is one of the official entries for the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Sharon highlighted the effortless and automatic chemistry she shared with Alden on set, emphasizing the strong bond between them. She described their scenes together as natural and expressed that it felt like he was her real son.
Alden, in turn, shared that he finds inspiration in the absence of his mother in real life when he portrays the character of Mateo. He mentioned that his connection with Sharon’s character felt instantaneous, and the emotions portrayed in their scenes felt genuine. Sharon echoed Alden’s sentiments, emphasizing the strong bond they formed during the film’s production.
When asked about the possibility of Alden becoming her son-in-law, Sharon responded enthusiastically, stating that Alden possesses the qualities she would want in a son-in-law. She praised Alden’s responsibility, work ethic, priorities, faith, honesty, and authenticity. Sharon expressed that any mother would be blessed to have Alden as a son-in-law, appreciating his qualities and charming personality.
Meanwhile, Alden Richards, whose real name is Richard Reyes Faulkerson Jr., is an actor, host, ambassador, recording artist, product endorser, producer, and entrepreneur. He earned the nickname “The Asia’s Multimedia Star” after receiving the Asian Star Prize awards at the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards in 2019 for his acting skills.
Alden gained popularity when he was paired with Maine Mendoza, forming the AlDub loveteam that captured the hearts of many.
