Kaila Estrada: “I am super grateful they let me do this on my own”
KAILA ESTRADA – The actress shared that she’s “super grateful” as her parents let her navigate her own path in the showbiz industry.
The actress currently stars in the Amazon Prime Video series “Linlang” alongside Paulo Avelino, Kim Chiu, JM de Guzman, and many more. She recently made headlines for her performance in the series.
Kaila is the daughter of John Estrada and Janice de Belen.
The actress said in an interview with ABS-CBN News that her parents let her figure out her way into showbiz and she feels that this has made her cherish it more because she knows how much work she has put in. She remarked that her parents gave her the “freedom to figure things out”.
Kaila also said her parents give advice to her only when she asks them to. Although she has always been independent, the actress said that her parents have always been giving her the support she needs in times of hardships.
“They give advice when I ask—but only when I ask,” she said about her parents. “When I mess up, they are always there to comfort me.”
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress thanked the viewers for commending her performance in “Linlang”. She also said that she appreciated the feedback she received when it comes to the things that she needed to improve on as an actress.
Janice de Belen, meanwhile, expressed how proud she is of her daughter Kaila.
The actress said in an interview with ABS-CBN News that she knows how hard her daughter works and how nervous she was doing the series. She also shared that she’s very thankful to everyone for their appreciation and support for her daughter, adding that she’s Kaila’s number 1 fan.
