Jane Oineza: “Super excited ako.”
JANE OINEZA – The actress recently shared the reason why she’s excited for the upcoming horror film “Shake Rattle and Roll Extreme”.
The horror movie was originally meant for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), but it didn’t make it to the final cut of the 2023 MMFF.
At a media conference on Tuesday, Jane told the members of the entertainment media that she’s “super excited” for the upcoming horror film because it’s been a while since the country had a “Shake Rattle and Roll” movie and it’s back this year.
Jane also said that she’s excited because people are coming back to the cinema, adding that it’s really different to watch a film inside the cinema, especially when it’s a horror movie.
“Iba rin talaga na manood ng movie inside the cinema, lalo na kapag horror,” she said. “Mayroon kang makakapitan, kasama mo kabarkada mo kung natatakot ka manood mag-isa o isama mo ang jowa mo and make it a date. So I am really, really excited.”
Directed by Jerrold Tarog, Joey de Guzman, and Richard Somes, the upcoming horror movie also stars Iza Calzado, Paolo Gumabao, Jane de Leon, Paul Salas, AC Bonifacio, Rob Gomez, Angel Guardian, Esnyr Ranollo, Elle Villanueva, Ninong Ry, and many more.
Jane, who currently stars in the ABS-CBN afternoon series “Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin”, is set to star with her real-life partner RK Bagatsing in the horror trilogy.
To recall, RK said in an interview with PUSH during the press conference for the upcoming horror movie “Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Extreme” that he and Jane are “super horror fans” as they’re watching lots of horror movies together.
The upcoming horror film will hit cinemas on November 29, 2023.
