Herlene Budol: “Isa po ‘yun sa mga gusto ko din talagang gampanan”
HERLENE BUDOL – The “Magandang Dilag” actress recently revealed one of the roles she want to portray in the future.
Following the success of Kapuso TV series “Magandang Dilag”, the actress is set to join the cast of the Kapuso primetime series “Black Rider”. she will be playing the role of “Pretty” in the action-packed series.
In Cata Tibayan’s report on “24 Oras”, Herlene said in an interview that she’s excited for her role in the series and she also wants to play an action role in the future.
According to her, becoming an action star is one of the roles she really want to portray.
Describing her role in the series, she said that “Pretty” is a manicurist who has a husband and who loves deeply but the love she gives is not reciprocated. Herlene also shared that she’ll be representing a lot of women who seem to be fighting for something.
“Excited po ako dun. Isa po ‘yun sa mga gusto ko din talagang gampanan ‘yung maging action star. Syempre open po ako,” Herlene said in an interview.
The actress even teased that her character will have a dramatic story, saying that it was happy at first but “parang may kurot” in the end and it’s not just a simple “kurot kalabit” but it’s like a slap of truth.
It can be recalled that Herlene shared in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that her self-confidence returned when people called her “Magandang Dilag” instead of “Hipon”.
At that time, she said that she had a grudge against people who called her “Hipon” at first and she even asked herself “Gano’n ba ako kapanget?” but she felt respect again when people called her “Magandang Dilag”.
