Because of teasing Super Tekla, Donita Nose experienced bullying
DONITA NOSE – The comedian revealed that she experienced bullying in the past because some people did not like her teasing of Super Tekla in their “Donekla” tandem.
On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, Donita looked back on the times when she and Tekla were a tandem on television and in their vlogs. “Actually ‘yung mga hilahan, ganiyan, actually never ko talagang naramdaman or ipinaramdam din sa kaniya,” Donita said.
Donita admitted that she understands Tekla’s popularity with people. Thus, it’s inevitable for some people to get annoyed with her whenever she teases him. “At saka aminado ako na mas charming siya sa tao, mas gusto siya ng tao. Pero mas gusto rin ng tao na dalawa kami. Pero siya, iba ‘yung dating sa akin. Minsan ako ‘yung binu-bully, inaaway ako ng mga may gusto sa kaniya. Pero mag-tandem kami. They don’t know kasi kung ano ‘yung role namin sa isa’t isa,” she said.
However, Donita explained that she teases Tekla to bring out his talent in making people laugh. “Siya kasi, ganu’n siya, kailangan ko siyang okrayin, kailangan ko siyang awayin para lumabas ang talent niya, maging effective siya,” she said. “Ako ‘yung nagiging maldita pero ‘yun is because ginagawa lang namin,” she added.
She emphasized that it’s just part of their humor. “Kailangan talaga sa mag-partner, merong isang maganda merong hindi ganoon kaganda,” she added. According to Donita, teasing each other is natural for her and Tekla.
“Wala sa amin ‘yun ni Tekla. Natural na namin ‘yon. Kahit off-cam o nasa show kami, okrayan pa rin kami. Pero natural na sa amin ‘yon so we don’t care about that. Anuman ang sabihin ng ibang tao, alam namin sa isa’t isa ang ginagawa namin,” she said.
In a previous interview on “Sarap, ‘Di Ba?” Donita admitted that there was a time when she gave up on their friendship. But she also mentioned that she and Tekla have resolved their misunderstanding.
