Kathryn and Daniel, the real-life and on-screen couple, are among the country’s most popular love teams. They have appeared in television shows such as Princess and I, Got to Believe, Pangako Sa ‘Yo, and La Luna Sangre. They also starred in Must Be… Love, Siyam na Buhay, She’s Dating the Gangster, Crazy Beautiful You, Barcelona: A Love Untold, Can’t Help Falling in Love, and The Hows of Us, among other films.
Previously, Daniel made a buzz online after rumors surfaced that he and Kathryn had broken up. This rumor started when Ogie Diaz claimed that a source told him the actor was secretly seeing actress Andrea Brillantes.
Apparently, Ogie Diaz was heavily criticized on social media and even accused of being a fake news peddler. In fact, his name trended on the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, as he was labeled a fake news peddler. Ogie immediately addressed the allegation, stating: “May naibalita lang kami na sinabi naman namin na di pa confirmed at sana di totoo, fake news peddler na raw kami. So pag tama ba kami, sasabitan nyo kami ng medalya?”
Daniel Padilla did not issue any clarification regarding the rumor involving him and Andrea, but in his IG stories, he posted a snapshot of the 2023 movie, “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck.” It appears to be his reaction to the issue involving his name, particularly his linking with Andrea.
