Cristy Fermin Reacts to Karla Estrada’s Statement Regarding KathNiel’s Breakup
CRISTY FERMIN – The showbiz columnist seems unconvinced by TV host-actress Karla Estrada’s statement regarding the separation of her son Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
In an episode of the show “Cristy Ferminute” on Monday, November 27, Cristy said she finds Karla’s statement confusing. “Very vague. Malawak. Kuwestiyonable. Hindi niya inamin alin ba doon ang hindi totoo. Hindi ba totoo na siya ang nagdaldal tungkol sa paghihiwalay ng anak niya at ni Kathryn? O hindi totoo na nag-break na ang dalawa?” Cristy said.
She added, “‘Yun ang kailangang maturol ngayon ng mga Kathryn-Daniel fans, di ba. Kailangan talaga, kailangan. Kaysa naman ‘yung ganyan na ang hawak lang nila ay false hope na tuloy pa rin ang pagmamahalan ng kanilang mga idolo.”
Previously, Cristy Fermin claimed on her online show “Showbiz Now Na” that Karla had confirmed the separation of KathNiel. “Kami po maninindigan kaming tatlo na hiwalay na po talaga sina Daniel Padilla at si Kathryn Bernardo. Umamin na po si Karla Estrada sa isa niyang kaibigan na wala na, tapos na,” she said.
Karla immediately responded by stating that it wasn’t true. According to her, she will never interfere with or meddle in the personal lives of her children. “Ito po ay walang katotohanan. Kailanman ay hindi ko panghihimasukan o pangungunahan ang personal na buhay ng mga anak ko,” she wrote.
Apparently, Kathryn and Daniel have yet to issue any statement regarding their rumored breakup, which started after Ogie Diaz shared that a source told him that Daniel and actress Andrea Brillantes are secretly seeing each other.
Earlier, Cristy couldn’t help but draw comparisons between Kathryn and Andrea in light of the rumored love triangle involving the two actresses and Danie. “Kung postura at postura, talagang may ilalaban ‘yung Andrea. Wala talagang binatbat si Kathryn. Tanggapin natin ang katotohanan. Paglakad, pagrampa lalong wala ‘di ba. Model-model talaga si Andrea. Hindi siya pupuwedeng mapintasan sa ganoon,” she said.
