Bea Alonzo: “Makukuha ko na ‘yung resident card ko, yay!”
BEA ALONZO – The “Love Before Sunrise” actress recently shared that she’s now an official resident of Spain.
The content creator released a vlog on her YouTube channel where she can be seen packing her check-in and carry-on bags for her three-week trip to Europe with her fiancé Dominic Roque.
The trip she’s referring to is her recently concluded 20-day trip to Europe with her fiancé during which they both visited Milan, Lake Como, Florence, and other breathtaking places.
According to the actress, the trip marked the first time she lived in the Madrid apartment she bought in 2022.
By acquiring the said apartment, the content creator became eligible for a Spanish Golden Visa and also obtained residency status through the “Residency by Investment” program of the Spanish government.
“Makukuha ko na ‘yung resident card ko, yay! So I will be an official resident of Spain so it’s really an important trip for Dom and I,” Bea said in her vlog.
It can be recalled that Bea Alonzo found her dream home in Madrid after spending 4 days searching for an apartment there. It was also last 2022 when the actress was finally able to show her new apartment to her mom.
Before she started sharing what’s inside her check-in and carry-on bags, Bea Alonzo said in her vlog that she hopes she can do a house tour there and “mukhang mabubudol natin si Dom to shoot me”.
In an interview at the press conference for “Start Up PH” in Cebu City last November 2022, Bea Alonzo said that she has no plans of becoming a Spanish citizen. She also said that she has been fascinated with the idea of living outside the Philippines.
“Not because I already have a place there doesn’t mean doon ako titira,” the actress said at that time. “It just so happened that I love Madrid, I love Spain and I have a lot of friends there.”
