Andrea Brillantes about having a crush on Daniel Padilla: “Ang gwapo niya, e”
ANDREA BRILLANTES – The actress admitted to having a crush on Daniel Padilla in 2013.
Andrea and Daniel are currently in the spotlight online after a claim from a source of Ogie Diaz suggested that the two were secretly seeing each other. Ogie and his co-hosts discussed this lingering issue on their online show, “Showbiz Update.” However, he found it highly unlikely that the rumor could be true, given Daniel’s conservative reputation.
Amid the issue, Andrea’s confession about her crush on Daniel has resurfaced. During the press conference of Annaliza in 2013, the actress openly expressed her admiration for the actor. As per PEP.ph, she was asked who among her crushes she would like to work with. She said: “Si Daniel Padilla po kasi ang gwapo niya, e.”
When asked if she was afraid that someone might get jealous of her, she said: “Hindi naman po, kasi mabait po si Ate Kathryn [Bernardo]. Kasi may isa pong sitwasyon na magpapa picture ako kay Kuya Daniel noong nakita ko siya, tinatawag ko si Kuya Daniel, pero hindi niya ako narinig.”
“That time po magka holding hands sila ni Ate Kathryn…kinalabit ko si Kuya Daniel at sinabi ko na ‘Kuya Daniel, pwede po bang mag pa picture.’ Hindi niya ako nadinig pero si Ate Kathryn narinig ako, sabi ni Ate Kathryn kay Kuya Daniel, ‘DJ, papa picture daw si Andrea sa ‘yo.’ Ayun po, nakapag pa picture ako kay Kuya Daniel dahil kay Ate Kathryn,” she added.
She mentioned that she felt thrilled when she had the opportunity to take a photo with Daniel. “Kinilig po ako noon dahil naka akbay si Kuya Daniel sa akin, tapos kiniss niya ako sa noo.”
As of press time, Daniel Padilla and Andrea Brillantes have yet to issue any statement regarding the issue concerning them. It can be inferred that the actress was only about 10 years old when she mentioned having a crush on the actor.
