Marc Logan Mourns Passing of Rep. Edward Hagedorn

Marc Logan pays tribute to Hagedorn

MARC LOGAN – The broadcast journalist penned a heartfelt message as a tribute to the late Palawan 3rd District Rep. Edward Hagedorn, who passed away on Tuesday, October 3.

In his Facebook post, Logan shared that he had spent a lot of time with Hagedorn while he was still alive. They planted trees, exchanged jokes, and even quipped about Hagedorn being his bodyguard. Logan humorously mentioned, “You were a man of few words pero lahat totoo lahat tumatagos sa puso ang bawat mong payo. Kaya naman nitong January 10, 2023 sa araw ng aking kasal andoon ka. Hindi nagdalawang salita at pumayag right away na maging Ninong namin ni Lois.”

Furthermore, Logan expressed that he would never forget Hagedorn as a person who cared for others deeply. He recounted how, aside from his office when he was the Mayor of Puerto Princesa, Hagedorn also had an office at a corner of the airport, where he distributed rice and groceries to the people of Palawan before leaving for Manila. Logan emphasized that Edward Hagedorn was a man with a heart for the underprivileged, just like the person who portrayed his biopic, Fernando Poe Jr.

“Di ka namin malilimutan Sir Ninong. Ikumusta mo kami sa langit sa dapat sana ay Ninang din namin na si Mam Gina Lopez. BFF mo. Rest in Eternal Peace Ninong Ed,” Marc Logan added.

It’s worth noting that the confirmation of Hagedorn’s passing was made by his office through a Facebook post on Tuesday morning. Apparently, his camp did not disclose the cause of his death.
