Jodi Sta. Maria: “It was great. Charot!”
JODI STA. MARIA – The “Unbreak My Heart” actress shared what it’s like to do a kissing scene with actor Joshua Garcia for the series.
The actress currently stars in the collaboration series between ABS-CBN and GMA Network. Other cast members of the series include Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, Richard Yap, and many more.
In an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, the actress was caught off guard when the King of Talk asked her what it was like to do a kissing scene with the actor for the series.
Jodi was seen turning shy to answer the question, but she eventually responded with “It was great” and followed by “Charot”, which means “just kidding”.
“It was great! Charot!” the actress told the King of Talk in an interview. “Nasa scene ‘yun, kailangan kasi talagang passionate, ganun ‘yung encounter with Renz, and ang iniisip ko na lang, si Renz ‘to.”
“Renz” was the character portrayed by actor Joshua Garcia in the series.
The actress also shared that doing such a scene made her nervous despite being in showbiz industry for many years.
She also credited the sensuality workshop that for the series, which set the boundaries of the actors when dealing with intimate scenes. According to her, it’s important to set the boundaries for such scenes so that an actor can develop that trust with his/her co-actor.
In the same interview, Jodi Sta. Maria shared the life lesson she wants to leave for her son. She said be grateful when good days come and don’t fret when bad days come because nothing lasts forever.
The series airs on GMA Telebabad, Pinoy Hits, and I Heart Movies at 9:35 pm and on GTV at 11:25 pm from Mondays to Fridays. It is also available on TFC and GMA Pinoy TV.
