Daughter of Janna Dominguez and Mickey Ablan finally laid to rest

YZABEL ABLAN – The eldest child of Janna Dominguez and Mickey Abalan was laid to rest on Thursday afternoon, October 12, 2023.

Yzabel was buried at La Pieta Memorial Park in Angeles, Pampanga. Mickey posted a short video on his Facebook account from the cemetery, where he was seen holding his child’s casket. His wife, Janna, was by his side, visibly distraught. Iwa Moto, Mickey’s former partner and a maternal figure to Yzabel, was seated behind them.

Mickey captioned his post with the message, “God Above All [heart, praying hands, sad face emojis] “I Love you so much Yzabel Ablan [heart emojis]”

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, Mickey and Janna revealed that they had a lengthy discussion about the kind of burial they would arrange for their child. Janna shared, “Actually, nung time na yun, ang hirap pag-usapan yun, yung libing. ‘Paano ba gagawin? Cremation ba? Or normal na libing?’ “Yung mga ganung decision-making.”

In the end, they decided on a regular burial because they wanted a place to visit on special occasions. Janna explained, “Gusto kasi ni Mickey… Actually, si Ate Yza mahilig sa celebration, di ba?” Mickey agreed, “Yes, tatayuan namin ng mauseleo… na puwedeng mag-celebrate dun.”

October 7, 2023, will forever hold a profound significance for Janna and Mickey as it marked two momentous occurrences, one filled with joy and the other shrouded in sorrow. On that Saturday, at 3:49 a.m., Janna Dominguez welcomed the birth of their youngest child, Michael Zab Leon III. However, merely a few hours later, at 12:20 p.m., the day turned somber as Yzabel Ablan, their eldest child, tragically succumbed to a lung infection and heart failure at the tender age of twenty.
