Jake Cuenca on Richard Gutierrez: “You are a real life superhero a legitimate action star on and off screen”
JAKE CUENCA – The Kapamilya actor said that “The Iron Heart” co-star Richard Gutierrez is a “legitimate action star”.
Richard and Jake have capped off the hit Kapamilya primetime action series titled “The Iron Heart”. The TV series was replaced by “Can’t Buy Me Love” starring actor Donny Pangilinan and actress Belle Mariano.
Jake and Richard took to their respective social media accounts to express their appreciation for each other.
On Monday, Jake shared a series of photos of him and Richard on his social media post and also wrote a message of appreciation for him.
In the caption of his post, he said it has been an absolute pleasure working with him. He went on to praise Richard for being a “real-life superhero” and a “legitimate action star” on-screen and off-screen.
“I will never get tired of saying it chard you are a real life superhero a legitimate action star on and off screen,” Jake said, referring to Richard. “I’m proud of what we’ve done here, proud of The Iron Heart We did one hell of a job Sayonara T I S O Y.”
Aside from this, the Kapamilya actor also thanked Star Creatives and whole production team of “The Iron Heart” for the opportunity to be part of the TV series.
Richard, for his part, posted a photo with Jake Cuenca on his social media account along with a message of appreciation for him. In the caption, he described Jake as an “absolute beast of an actor” and a professional through and through.
“We started in the industry together twenty odd years ago, been around the block twice, dues fully paid!” Richard said to Jake. “Congratulations on a job well done my brother! This is one for the books!”
“The Iron Heart” also starred Ian Veneracion, Maricel Laxa, Roi Vinzon, Meryll Soriano, Diether Ocampo, Dimples Romana, Baron Geisler, Sue Ramirez, Albert Martinez, Sofia Andres, and Christian Vasquez.
Jake played the role of “Eros” in the series, while Richard played the role of “Apollo”. There is no word yet if “The Iron Heart” will have another run on television or will have a movie adaptation.
