During a question-and-answer session with her Instagram followers, one of them asked how she managed to recover emotionally, mentally, and spiritually from those who had taken advantage of her kindness. Heart’s secret to recovery, she explained, was understanding that such behavior stems from envy and ill intentions.
She expressed, “You recover by realizing that it’s okay. It was part of the criminal plan with their criminal minds. And you realize the reason why they worked so hard to put you down is because you actually have a great life.”
Heart went on to emphasize that such situations are not unique to celebrities like herself but can also occur in workplace environments. She warned her followers that some people secretly covet what you have and will try to undermine your life’s successes. She concluded, “So, in a sense, you don’t really lose everything or anyone because those people never liked you to begin with.”
In a subsequent statement, Heart’s comment sparked rumors that she had donated her kidney to someone and allegedly told them that it would grow back. Heart clarified that she was joking and used the situation to illustrate the extent of her naivety due to her extreme kindness. She clarified, “What I mean to say is rurok na rurok yung pagkabudol ko emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Kaya, kahit anong hingin sa akin, gagawin ko.”
In a humorous tone, she referenced lyrics from one of Cher’s songs, “Do you believe in love after love?” and responded, “I don’t!”
