Claudine Barretto: “I’ve been throwing up because of ‘yung nerbyos ko talaga na, you know, sasalang ulit ako sa teleserye”
CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The Optimum Star recently opened up about her acting comeback.
The veteran actress is set to star in the upcoming series titled “Lovers/Liars”. In the series, she will portray a successful corporate woman who unexpectedly falls in love with a younger man.
“Lovers/Liars” also marks her first time working with Rob Gomez, Shaira Diaz, Yaser Marta, Lianne Valentin, Polo Ravales, Sarah Edwards, and Christian Vasquez.
Claudine admitted in an interview with Lhar Santiago on “24 Oras” that she has been feeling nervous for her upcoming teleserye. According to her, she has been throwing up because of nerves.
“I’ve been throwing up because of ‘yung nerbyos ko talaga na, you know, sasalang ulit ako sa teleserye, kung ano talaga ang forte ko,” she said. “Pero, sabi nga nila, kapag ka hindi ka ninerbyos, dun ka nenerbyosin.”
The veteran actress was also asked if there’s a possibility for her to fall in love with a younger man in real life. According to her, she prefers older man instead of a younger one.
Her acting comeback is also timely as she just achieved her desired weight. According to a report on “24 Oras”, the veteran actress is now 80 pounds lighter due to intermittent fasting and working out.
Claudine shared that she has always been thin and she wants to fix her life whenever she gains weight by going on a strict diet, working out, and looking even better than before.
During the “For Today’s Talk” portion of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” episode aired last October 19, talk show host Boy Abunda announced that “Lovers/Liars” will air in the allotted time slot for “Unbreak My Heart”.
