CATHERINE CAMILON – The Miss Grand Philippines 2023 candidate has gone missing, and her family has reached out to the public, pleading for her return.
Catherine, who represented Tuy, Batangas, in the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant held in July, has been unresponsive since October 12, 2023. She has not returned home for several days and has not been in contact with her family.
Catherine’s sister, Chin-chin, posted on her Facebook account on October 13, appealing to anyone who may have been with Catherine. Accordingly, she left home around 8 p.m. on October 12 to meet someone. However, her phone has been off since the morning of the following day, and she hasn’t been online.
On October 14, Catherine’s mother, Rose Camilon, also made a plea on Facebook, urging her “missing” child to come home and turn on her phone for communication. She expressed her love and concern for Catherine’s safety and well-being, asking for her to be kept away from harm. On October 15, Rose once again posted a message for Catherine, conveying the family’s need to see and be with her, emphasizing their love.
Balisong Channel, a local online news site based in Batangas, also issued a plea regarding Catherine’s disappearance. It’s worth noting that Catherine is not only a beauty queen but also a teacher at a public school in Batangas.
As of the time of writing, Catherine’s family has not yet located or communicated with her. The situation remains unresolved, and her loved ones are deeply concerned about her whereabouts and safety.
