Rendon Labador apologizes to celebrities he criticized

RENDON LABADOR – The so-called motivational speaker apologized to the personalities he criticized including Michael V. and Vice Ganda.

On a rare occasion, the controversial social media personality was interviewed by Ogie Diaz on his vlog “Ogie Diaz Inspires.” During the interview, Rendon explained himself and why he considered it his “duty” to criticize celebrities. Rendon also apologized to the personalities he had criticized, such as Michael V and Vice Ganda. He expressed that he had no ill intentions towards them.

“I’m apologizing,” said Rendon. “I’m trying to be perfect. Ngayon naman nakikinig na ako. Marami akong opportunities. Marami naman akong nasaktan din naman talaga. Iyon din naman yung regret ko talaga. I’m trying to be better.”

“So kung nasaktan ko man kayo, kay Vice, Ion, lahat ng artista, Michael V. I’m apologizing. Wala akong masamang intensyon sa inyo, Hindi ko kayo dini-discredit. I’m thankful sa mga nagawa ninyo. Ang gusto ko lang matulungan, magising. Sana makasama ko kayo sa pagbago ng Pilipinas,” he further explained.

It’s worth noting that Rendon responded to Michael V when the latter expressed his opinions about the content of some social media influencers. On the other hand, Rendon was one of those who criticized the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) for its alleged failure to take action against the “indecent act” performed by Vice Ganda and Ion Perez in the “Isip Bata” segment of It’s Showtime.

Previously, he earned online attention due to the suspension of his social media accounts, including Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and even his email. This suspension resulted from a mass reporting campaign initiated by internet users who held grievances against him.
