Netizen Creates a ‘Hilarious’ 1K Meal Plan: “Kung may sukli pa ‘yan, pwedeng i-save sa bangko”

Benj Ramos’ 1K meal plan

1K MEAL PLAN – A netizen named Benj Ramos turned to social media to share his version of the 1K weekly meal plan, inspired by Neri Miranda’s.

Earlier, the actress-turned-businesswoman took to Facebook to share an example of her weekly meal plan, operating on a budget of P1000. In the caption, she stated, “For the moms who will do the groceries tomorrow after dropping their kids at school, here it is, you can even print it, complete with a grocery list.” She added, “I tried budgeting P1,000 for a week. If there’s any change left, it can be used for additional snacks or the children’s packed lunch.”

However, her post elicited a mixed response from social media users, with some requesting a detailed breakdown of her meal plan and others inquiring whether it’s suitable for an individual or multiple people. In response to the criticism, Neri Miranda defended her P1K meal plan.

In a series of interactions with netizens, Neri Miranda emphasized that it was just a “sample”. She also encouraged readers to cultivate vegetables in their backyards and raise animals to have a food reserve, such as chicken eggs.

At one juncture, Neri Miranda disclosed her humble background, explaining that her upbringing taught her resourcefulness in life. She also addressed netizens who commented without knowledge of her background.

Meanwhile, netizen Benj Ramos devised his own 1K meal plan, which many found hilarious, garnering more than 3k reactions. Here’s his post:

“Kung may sukli pa yan, pwedeng i-save sa bangko pero kung wala kang tiwala sa bank, pwede sa alkansya pero wag ka lalapit sa KMJS pag kinain ng anay o nasunog yan ha ayaw mo kasi magtiwala sa bank eh ikaw lang din naman may kasalanan bat ka nahahack kasi nagbibigay ka ng OTP sa scammer/hacker,” he noted.
