Manny Pacquiao’s Alleged Illegitimate Son Resurfaces, Now a Boxer

Man purported to be Manny Pacquiao’s illegitimate child has reemerged, this time pursuing a career in boxing

EMAN BACOSA – A 19-year-old man who is said to be the son of the legendary eight-division champion, Manny Pacquiao, is now following in the footsteps of the iconic boxer.

On Facebook, a user named Nissi Icasiano shared that Eman Bacosa, the alleged illegitimate son of Pacquiao, recently made his professional boxing debut on September 23. Remarkably, this debut occurred under the promotion “Blow by Blow,” a fact that carries a touch of irony, given its connection to Pacquiao.

However, the first professional bout for the 5’10” boxer concluded with a split draw. If the reports regarding his parentage are accurate, Bacosa would become the second child of the boxer-former politician to enter the boxing ring. It is worth noting that Pacquiao’s eldest child, Jimuel has already participated in amateur matches.

To recall, in 2006, Joanna Rose Bacosa, Eman’s mother, stepped into the public spotlight, revealing her past romantic involvement with Pacquiao. She recounted their meeting in March 2003 at a Manila hotel, where she worked as a waitress.

According to her, their relationship resulted in the birth of their child. Joanna Rose also asserted that the financial support she had been receiving from Pacquiao had abruptly ceased, prompting her to file charges against him for failing to provide child support. However, the court ultimately dismissed the case, citing insufficient evidence to pursue charges against Manny Pacquiao.

As of press time, Manny Pacquiao has not issued any statement regarding the boxing career of his purported illegitimate son, Eman. The legendary boxing icon, on the other hand, has five children with wife Jinkee.
