Lady Teacher Captures Hearts of Netizens w/ Heartwarming Assignment She Gave to Her Students
A lady teacher in Jaen, Nueva Ecija goes viral and captured the hearts of netizens with a touching assignment she gave to her students.
Aira Castillo, a Facebook user, shared the video footage of herself imparting words of wisdom and giving a heartwarming assignment to her students. The video quickly spread like wildfire online.
In the video, Castillo is seen imparting words of wisdom to her students about the importance of self-love. She also told her students to take a rest and enjoy the weekend with the families as their assignment.
“Always remember that you are beautiful, you are enough, and you are loved, that’s why I want you to take a rest, enjoy your weekend with your family, treat yourself and let your weekend an acad-free,” Castillo said.
The female educator shared that she has been teaching for two years and currently serves as a Grade 12 teacher of Media and Information Literacy at Holy Cross College in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
According to Castillo, she decided to make relaxation an assignment because she remembers the “pressure, stress, and exhaustion” she felt when she was a student herself. She can see those same feelings in her students today.

Teacher Aira also revealed that after giving the assignment, she witnessed many of her students tear up. Castillo expressed her hope that more teachers would embrace the diversity among their students and that the classroom could be a second home rather than a place of fear due to strict discipline.
“Para sa mga kapwa ko guro, deserve ninyong parangalan. Marami tayong ginagawa na outside the books. Maraming salamat dahil nagsilbi kayong pangalawang magulang ng mga mag-aaral,” she added.
