Furparent Shares Misunderstanding Over “Yezali” in Customized Pet Collar

Furparent Shares Hilarious Misunderstanding w/ Online Seller

A furparent has shared a hilarious misunderstanding between him and online seller over “Yezali” in a customized pet collar.

Victor Jose Abillar, a Facebook user, shared the screenshot of his conversation with a shop that specializes in customized pet collars for his furbaby, Michael. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the conversation, Abillar responded with “yezali” when inquiring about the collar, leaving the shop under the impression that “yezali” was his pet’s name. The latter explained, “Yezali is a term used in gay language for ‘Yes.’

“Yezali po kasi is gay language for ‘Yes.’ Though I don’t know po where siya nag originate pero last year pa lang ginagamit ko na siya,” Victor said.

The furparent clarified that his furbaby’s real name is Michael, inspired by a line from Nicki Minaj’s song “Anaconda” that goes, “This dude named Michael used to ride motorcycles.”

Ang name po [talaga] niya (furbaby) is Michael. Galing po siya sa kanta ni Nicki Minaj na Anaconda- ‘This dude named Michael used to ride motorcycles’ so basically umikot lahat ng nasa story na to sa gay culture pati yung ‘Yezali’ hahaha,” Victor continued.

The latter playfully revealed that the entire exchange, including “Yezali,” was steeped in gay culture.

When he received the pet collar, Victor couldn’t help but burst into laughter. “Natawa ako nang sobra. Nabuo ang gabi ko. So sinabi ko sa shop kukunin ko na lang din yung Yezali and nagpagawa/bumili na lang ulit ako ng another one na may tamang pangalan,” he added.
