David Licauco Says He Plans To Undergo Surgery To Address Sleep Apnea Condition

David Licauco: “Hopefully I find the time na magawa ko ‘yun kasi I think sleep is the best gift by God”

DAVID LICAUCO – The actor said that he plans to undergo a surgery after “Maging Sino Ka Man” in order to address his sleep apnea condition.

The actor is set to star in “Maging Sino Ka Man” – a remake of the iconic ’90s film of the same name starring Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla. Other cast members include Barbie Forteza, Juancho Triviño, Jean Garcia, Jeric Raval, Faith da Silva, Mikoy Morales, Rain Matienzo, E.R. Ejercito, and Jean Saburit.

Sleep apnea, meanwhile, is a sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts.

He shared in an interview on “24 Oras” on Friday that people sometimes mistake him for being a snob due to his condition.

The “Pambansang Ginoo” also said in an interview that he plans to undergo a surgery after the show and he also hopes that he can find the time to do it, adding that sleep is the “best gift by God”.

I tend to be, parang iniisip ng mga tao na mataray ako, suplado, but actually may nape-feel kasi ako sa umaga na bigat eh, so parang wala ka sa mood, so I had to work out,” the actor said.

It can be recalled that David opened up about his struggles with sleep apnea in an interview with Bea Alonzo back in July this year. At that time, he said his condition sometimes affects his work as sleep apnea usually makes him late on set for taping.

Meanwhile, the actor admitted in an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that he’s the “seloso” type of boyfriend when he gets into a relationship. He even has “David Licauco Seloso University (DLSU)”.
