BACKHOE OPERATOR – A netizen recently took to social media to post the salary of someone operating a backhoe and it generated mixed reactions from other netizens.

A backhoe loader is a versatile machine commonly used in construction, excavation, and earth-moving projects. It consists of a tractor-like unit with a front bucket loader and a rear digging backhoe attachment.
The primary responsibility of a backhoe operator is to safely and efficiently operate the backhoe loader, performing tasks such as digging trenches, excavating foundations, loading and unloading materials, grading terrain, and other construction-related activities. They use the machine’s hydraulic controls to manipulate the front loader bucket and the digging arm (backhoe) to perform precise and controlled movements.
Operating a backhoe requires a deep understanding of the equipment, including its controls and capabilities, as well as knowledge of safety procedures and excavation techniques. Backhoe operators play a crucial role in various construction and infrastructure development projects, ensuring the accurate and efficient completion of excavation and digging tasks.
Recently, a certain Kay Kimbam turned to social media wherein she posted a breakdown of the earnings of a backhoe operator who earned about 38,720 due to dedication and overtime work over several days. In the caption of her post, Kay noted: “Hindi ka Mahirap sa buhay, Nasa maling Trabaho ka lang (emojis). She added: “Mag backhoe operator nlang cguro ko.”
In the comment section, Kay stressed that the salary of the backhoe operator she posted is legitimate. She even mentioned that it only covers the 15-day working period or “kinsenas.”
As expected, her post generated mixed reactions from netizens. One netizen commented: “Bat po ‘nalang’? Parang youre subtly discriminating and insulting them and their work.” Another netizen wrote: “Maka 40k lagi pero halus 24hours man pud nag jute,., patay ma dugay e.”
