CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT? – A private resort owner couldn’t help but express her disappointment when she witnessed the aftermath of a corporate party that had taken place on her property.

On Facebook, Noneth Palentino shared pictures of the damage caused by the company employees who rented her resort. She also posted a video showing a messy bathroom, a party area filled with garbage, and the pool with tables, bottles, and even a water dispenser floating in it.

The owner was upset and asked, “Tables and chairs, basura , pati ihawan at dispenser ihuhulog niyo sa pool? Tpos anlakas pa ng loob niyo mangatok sa caretaker nmin pra kunin ang security deposit? Talaga ba?” She added: “Ngayon niyo sabhin na CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! Kulang pa yan security deposit niyo sa damages na gnwa niyo sa resort!”

Later, Palentino uploaded security camera footage that showed the actual incident, where the guests were tossing things all over the place. According to Palentino, she identified all the guests responsible for the incident and spoke to the company where they were working. Although she forgave the guests, she still intended to have them pay for the damage they caused.

Apparently, the company hadn’t given an official statement yet, but it was said that they had suspended the workers involved in the incident.

Palentino also addressed the online community, saying that this incident proved that customers aren’t always right. She advised other customers not to complain just because there’s a security deposit, and not to argue with her staff by making excuses they didn’t read the contract. She said this was meant to make sure customers behaved well.
