Ogie Diaz: “Hindi ako galit kay Rendon. May mga mali siyang sinasabi… may punto rin naman siya.”
OGIE DIAZ – The comedian and talent manager said that it’s okay for him if motivational speaker Rendon Labador will take a swipe at him.
Rendon Labador is known for lashing out at prominent personalities who have created a buzz on social media. Recently, he has called on the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) to take action against “E.A.T…” host Jose Manalo for making a joke about the skin color of co-host Tugue Zombie.
In the latest episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update” vlog on YouTube, Ogie was asked by his co-host what he would do if Rendon will take a swipe at him.
Ogie Diaz said in a vlog posted on his YouTube channel that he’s not mad at Rendon and it’s okay for him if Rendon will take a swipe at him. He also said that the motivational speaker says something wrong and he also has a point.
He went on to tell his viewers that they should either understand Rendon and what he’s saying or just ignore him.
“At the end of the day kapag kinalaban mo si Rendon o kinalaban ako ni Rendon tapos hindi kami magkita sa gitna, wala ring mangyayari,” Ogie said. “At the end of the day kapag kinalaban mo si Rendon o kinalaban ako ni Rendon tapos hindi kami magkita sa gitna, wala ring mangyayari.”
Rendon Labador posted on Instagram Stories wherein he gave a reaction after reading an article from Abante News Online with the headline “Kung si Cristy Fermin bad trip: Ogie Diaz, OK lang kahit tirahin ni Rendon“. In his post, he gave Ogie “+1” for having an “ambag”.
“Dahil napatawa tayo ni pareng Ogie Diaz, bigyan natin siya ng +1,” Rendon said in his post. “Buti pa si pareng Ogie kahit papano may ambag, yung isa dapat ibalik nalang sa ‘spirit of the glass’.”
The content creator also said that he’s still waiting for the decision from the MTRCB about the issue where TV hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez showed to their viewers on “It’s Showtime” how they eat cake icing. Aside from this, he’s also waiting for the decision from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) regarding the National IDs that allegedly found in a pile of trash.
