Khalil Ramos: “We date to marry, we just don’t date for companionship.”
KHALIL RAMOS – The actor recently admitted that he and his girlfriend, actress Gabbi Garcia, have already talked about the prospect of marriage.
The celebrity couple have been dating for 6 years now and they starred in their first series together, “Love You Stranger”, last year. Gabbi is one of the stars in “Unbreak My Heart”, while Khalil is one of the stars in “Tick, Tick… Boom!”
In an interview with PUSH, he said that it’s important to talk about marriage when they’re in a relationship for that long, adding that they “date to marry” and just don’t date for companionship. The actor also said that he and his girlfriend want to settle down and also want to spend the rest of their lives together “but it’s not that easy”.
Khalil added that he and Gabbi will tie the knot before they get into their late 30s.
“It’s something that we see ourselves doing in the near future. Of course we’d want to do it before we get into our late 30s, that’s one thing,” he said. “Pero hindi rin naman din super soon kasi Gabbi’s young also. So down the line we’ll figure it out.”
In the same interview with PUSH, the actor said their busy schedules with their respective showbiz commitments haven’t made it possible for the two of them to update their YouTube channel. He added that he and his girlfriend had to let go of some things but they “don’t want to let it go completely”.
According to Khalil, they still want to create content and update their YouTube channel.
The actor also revealed that it was his girlfriend who first introduced him to a love for live productions. He added that Gabbi is a very avid supporter of theater and musicals, something that he discovered about her when they started dating.
Khalil went on to share that there’s no big secret to reveal about their steady partnership.
