Bong Revilla: “Meron tayong specials na mapapanood n’yo sa GMA”

BONG REVILLA – Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. teased the upcoming specials ahead of his 50th anniversary in showbiz.

The senator will have a double celebration in September this year because he will also turn 57 in September 25, 2023.

Senator Bong Revilla is currently starring in the Kapuso comedy-action series “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis”. The comedy-action series, which will air its final episode on August 20, 2023, will have a second season.

In a report on GMA News’ “24 Oras” on Friday, the actor-politician said he has an upcoming surprises that his fans should watch out for.

Meron tayong specials na mapapanood n’yo sa GMA, to be announced soon kung anong oras, anong araw ‘yun, anong date. Ang punong abala diyan, si Lani,” the senator said, referring to his wife Lani Mercado.

The senator also said that the production prepared surprises for the finale of the comedy-action series.

It can be recalled that the actor-politician said during a lunch with the showbiz media in Quezon City last August 17, 2023 that he remains dedicated to his career in politics and showbiz while acknowledging the importance of maintaining his good health at his age.

The senator also reminisces about the pinnacle of his career in the entertainment industry, saying that the highlight of his career was the first time he starred in a movie. He then expressed his gratitude to his fans and to those who have consistently supported him.

According to the actor-politician, he’s very grateful to the Lord for all the blessings he has bestowed on him and his family. He added that he couldn’t have achieved all this if it wasn’t for the Lord.

Bong Revilla and Lani Mercado got married in a civil wedding ceremony in Glendale, California on May 28, 1986 and tied the knot in a church wedding ceremony at the Imus Cathedral last March 25, 1998.
