ALEXA ILACAD – The “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” star recently spoke about being introduced as one of new generation dramatic actresses.
The actress-singer is one of the stars in TV series “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” alongside Joseph Marco, Elisse Joson, Ronnie Alonte, Charlie Dizon, KD Estrada, and Loisa Andalio. She also signed her latest contract with ABS-CBN.
According to her, she hopes to be able to focus on her career in the music industry apart from her acting career.
Alexa shared that being introduced as the new generation dramatic actress is what she has always strived for, adding that she will do everything she can to earn the title. The actress-singer also said that it’s the title she has always wanted.
“We’re being introduced as the new generation dramatic actresses which is what I have always strived for. Yun talaga ang ginapang ko,” she said. “So I’m very proud and sabi ko nga, I will do everything I can to earn this title. And this is so special to me because it’s the title that I’ve always wanted.”
She, who grew up onscreen as a child star, also revealed why she never had to go through the “awkward stage” that usually happens in the pre-pubescent years. According to her, her career path has always been “tuloy tuloy” ever since she was a kid.
When it comes to her music career, the actress said she recently told Star Magic that she thinks this is the perfect time for her to release new music so that she doesn’t lose the music side of her.
“That’s actually in talks right now but there’s nothing much I can explain yet pero abangan niyo,” she said.
Aside from this, Alexa also talked about “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” co-stars Charlie Dizon, Elisse Joson, and Loisa Andalio. She shared that she loves them because she knows they all share the same goal – to make the TV series the best they can.
