AJ Raval: “Nag-start ‘yung relationship namin na wala kaming nasasaktan. Wala kaming nilokong tao”
AJ RAVAL – The “Sugapa” actress said her relationship with actor Aljur Abrenica started after his breakup with actress Kylie Padilla.
It can be recalled that Aljur and AJ became Instagram official on Valentine’s Day of this year. The two were spotted together on multiple occasions in 2022 before they confirmed their relationship.
Aljur and AJ are among the stars in the upcoming movie “Sugapa”.
In a report on Inquirer on Sunday, AJ set the record straight on her relationship with Aljur in a Facebook live last August 15, 2023, months after denying that she’s Aljur’s “mistress”. The actress said that the accusations towards her were “too much”.
According to her, she doesn’t mind if people call her a “mistress” but her relationship with the actor started without hurting anyone. The actress also said that she and the actor became official “around July of last year” a year after he started courting her.
“Nag-start ‘yung relationship namin na wala kaming nasasaktan. Wala kaming nilokong tao,” she said. “A year after [manligaw ni Aljur Abrenica sa’kin], doon kami naging official. Mga last year, July. Wala talaga kaming niloko.”
The actress also said that she’s not a homewrecker and she knows the so-called ‘other woman’ involved in Aljur and Kylie’s breakup. According to her, she doesn’t want to reveal the name of the so-called ‘other woman’ because “kawawa din kasi alam ko may baby na din ‘yung girl o kung sino man ‘yon.”
AJ then stressed that she made sure to clarify the status of Aljur and Kylie’s relationship prior to getting romantically involved with the actor. Echoing Kylie’s request on social media, AJ also begged netizens to stop tagging Kylie in posts involving her and Aljur.
To recall, Kylie posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) last August 12, 2023 telling netizens to stop tagging her on Aljur and AJ’s post as the narrative involving the three of them was tiring.
