Source of Cristy Fermin claims TVJ and Dabarkads initial talent fee is P300M
CRISTY FERMIN – The veteran broadcast journalist claimed on her online show “Showbiz Now Na” that a source told her that the initial salary of TVJ (Tito, Vic, and Joey) and the Dabarkads from Manny V. Pangilinan’s TV5 was rumored to be in the range of several hundred million pesos.
However, Cristy, an experienced showbiz columnist, chose not to disclose the identity of her source or the specific amount mentioned to her. She stated, “Hindi ko po babanggitin kung sino ang aking source, lalong hindi ko babanggitin ang presyo pero daang milyon ang pag-uusapan natin.” She then proceeded to provide an explanation as to how it would be possible for TVJ and the Dabarkads to receive such a substantial initial salary.
Cristy elaborated that when Tito, Vic, and Joey, along with the Dabarkads, joined TV5, it was alleged that Sir MVP (Manny V. Pangilinan) released a significant sum of money, which she likened to earnest money in real estate transactions. Assuming that Sir MVP released 300 million pesos, she believed it was entirely feasible.
She reiterated the rumor circulating in the showbiz industry regarding the amount received by the group, stating, “‘Yun po ang kumakalat na isyu ngayon, 300 million pesos daw po ang unang inilabas ni Sir MVP bilang pang-unang talent fees ng grupo.”
Cristy emphasized that this information is purely speculative and invited others to challenge or confirm her statement regarding the exact amount received by the group. It can be recalled that it was on July 1st when E.A.T, the newest show of TVJ and Dabarkads debuted.
