According to Taiwan News, the owner of Yuan Ramen drew inspiration from the viral isopod ramen that created a buzz on social media the previous month. Given that frog consumption is common in the Yunlin region, they decided to infuse a local twist into their ramen creation.

Reportedly, the frog ramen consists of a classic fish soup base, classic ramen noodles, clams, and a 200-gram unpeeled frog garnished with green onions. While this dish may not be to everyone’s taste, it has attracted significant attention and sparked discussions online. It serves as a prime example of how unique culinary creations can pique the interest and curiosity of food enthusiasts, even if they venture beyond the realm of conventional flavors and ingredients.
