ALDEN RICHARDS – Here’s what the actor said when he was asked if he received an offer to promote the new show in the revamped “Eat Bulaga” and in ABS-CBN’s “It’s Showtime”.
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and Megastar Sharon Cuneta are starring in an upcoming film titled “A Mother and Son’s Story”.
Alden was asked during the press conference for “Battle of the Judges” if he received an offer to promote the upcoming show in GMA-based noontime shows.
According to a report on Inquirer Bandera, Alden revealed that he was offered by GMA Network to promote “Battle of the Judges” in “Eat Bulaga” and “It’s Showtime”.
The actor also said that he’s open to promoting the upcoming show in the GMA-based noontime shows, but he’s not open to becoming the guest or regular host of the shows since he’s loyal to TVJ (Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon) and Dabarkads.
“If it’s about promo, okay po. Pero as a guest or regular host, baka hindi po muna,” he said. “Kasi of course, yung puso ko po is with the Dabarkads.”
Alden shared that he remained “quiet” over TVJ’s ongoing battle with the executives of TAPE Inc. as he does not want to sever ties between both camps as well as GMA Network.

The “Pambansang Bae” also stressed that he wants to defend the relationship he shared with TVJ and Dabarkads as he considers them as a “family”.
He was also asked about the departure of TVJ from TAPE Inc. In response, the actor confessed that he’s “very sad” about the turn of events, adding that he loves the former Eat Bulaga hosts “dearly”.
“I’m turning 12 years in the industry. So most likely, most of my life was spent in “Eat Bulaga” but we still remain friends, even off-cam,” he said.
