Quiboloy Speaks After YouTube Terminates His Channel

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy: “Itong ginagawa sa’kin is both political and religious persecution.”

QUIBOLOY – Here’s what Pastor Apollo Quiboloy said after Google-owned video-sharing platform YouTube terminated his official channel.

It was last June 21, 2023 when YouTube announced the termination of Quiboloy’s channel because of alleged violation of community guidelines. This, after a content creator questioned YouTube for hosting Quiboloy’s channel even if he’s already wanted in the United States.

Quiboloy is on the wanted list of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

According to a report on Rappler, YouTube’s parent company Google said in a statement on Thursday that the company is committed to “compliance with applicable US sanctions laws” and enforces related policies under its Terms of Service.

Google is committed to compliance with applicable US sanctions laws and enforces related policies under its Terms of Service. After review and consistent with these policies, we terminated the Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy YouTube channel,” Google said in a statement.

The pastor stressed in an interview on SMNI News’ “Laban Kasama ang Bayan” that there’s “nothing new” with this act. He added that it only shows that the United States is “unfair” and is doing him “injustice”.

Quiboloy also said that the attacks against him show that the United States only wants to assert its dominance over other countries like the Philippines.

According to the pastor, all accusations against him were “fabricated” and he’s being put under a “political and religious persecution” by the US.

Hindi tayo tunay na malaya, pinapakialaman tayo sa bansa natin eh,” he said. “Pinatong sa ulo ko pagkatapos ipinaangkin sa ‘kin. Sila gumawa no’n tapos ipa-angkin sa’yo. Tapos gagamitin nila ang mga batas nila.
