Ogie Diaz Defends Aiko Melendez Against Bashers Over TikTok Video Inside the Session Hall

After earning criticisms, Ogie Diaz defends his friend Aiko Melendez over TikTok dance inside the QC session hall

OGIE DIAZ – The talent manager has come to the defense of his friend Aiko Melendez, who is being criticized for dancing inside the session hall.

The actress and Quezon City councilor made headlines after she posted a TikTok video inside the session hall, along with fellow Kapuso star Julian Trono. Her TikTok video received a barrage of criticism from netizens.

Many people were displeased with Aiko’s actions, citing a lack of respect for the session hall. This prompted Ogie to step in and defend his friend.

“Pag magaganda naman ang ginagawang project, di naman naba-viral. Nag-tiktok lang, dami nang kumuda?” said the talent manager. Ogie continued, “Me nilabag bang protocol? This is after the session. May corruption bang naganap sa video?”

Ogie added, “Ang i-bash nyo ay kung sino ang laging absent na konsehal during sessions.” However, according to Aiko, their TikTok dance was done before the session.

Many disagreed with the talent manager and believed that what the councilor did was still wrong. “unfortunately, disagree ako sayo ogie. lam namin na manager ka ni aiko, pero sana pangaralan mo sya. may tamang lugar sa pagtiktok at hindi yan sa opisina ng gobyerno,” a netizen said.

“You missed the point. This is a session hall. May rules of conduct, may decorum. Yung projects, yung walang corruption basic expectations un ng public office, in the same way na may basic expectations sa professionalism,” another netizen noted.

As of press time, Aiko Melendez and Julian Trono have not issued any response to the criticisms they have been receiving.
