Eat Bulaga Theme Song With Modified Lyrics Goes Viral: “Ang EB, wala nang buhay”

Fan modifies Eat Bulaga theme song

EAT BULAGA – Netizens were amazed by a fan who created new lyrics for the theme song of the longest-running noontime show following the departure of its original hosts.

In a TikTok video, Juanito Camacho Jr. sang his modified lyrics while washing dishes. He began with the line, “Mula Batanes nagkagulo, lahat sila nagtalo-talo.” He continued, expressing the sentiment of fans during the hosts’ absence with the lines, “Isang linggong walang tuwa, buong bansa, nabulaga!”

Juanito further emphasized the impact of the hosts’ departure on the show, singing, “Wala si Tito, Vic and Joey. Barkada’y rumesponde. Silang lahat, biglang nag-resign. Ang EB, wala nang buhay.” He resonated with fans who expressed their discontent on social media by singing, “Buong socmed ay nagkakaisa, ang bagong programa’y i-boycott nila.”

It can be recalled that it was from May 31 to June 4, 2023, “Eat Bulaga” suspended live production as original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon departed TAPE Inc. due to a dispute. The announcement was livestreamed on social media, and a replay episode aired on GMA Network. Other hosts and production members also resigned.

On June 5, the show returned with new hosts, and additional hosts joined on June 8 and 10. Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon have already applied for ownership of the “Eat Bulaga!” trademark, which is set to expire on June 14. On June 7, TVJ and other hosts signed with MediaQuest Holdings Inc. to move to TV5.
