Here’s the reaction of Buboy Villar to rumors he resigned from Eat Bulaga
BUBOY VILLAR – The host of the revamped Eat Bulaga refuted the rumors that he resigned from the noontime show.
In a statement on Wednesday, Buboy expressed that the show’s entertainment segment will persist. He then urged the public not to give credence to false information. During the show’s opening on that same Wednesday, Buboy was noticeably absent among the hosts. However, he later made his appearance with a touch of humor, playfully answering why he was late to join the others.
“Sorry, Dabarkads, ha. Sumakit lang yung panubigan ko. Sorry, pantog pala.” With this jest, he emphasized that the reports of his resignation were entirely untrue, and he reassured the audience that they would continue to bring happiness and joy to their viewers.
In a lighthearted manner, Buboy also playfully chided Paolo, one of his co-hosts, for being too inclined to believe in fake news. “Ayan ang mahirap kasi sa ‘yo, Paolo, masyado kang naniniwala sa fake news. Tuloy ang pagpapasaya nation!” he said.
He emphasized that their entertainment segment would persist without any disruptions. It is worth noting that Buboy was among the hosts introduced on June 5, following the departure of the show’s original hosts and TVJ on May 31, 2023.
To further address the issue, Buboy appeared on Boy Abunda’s show and clarified the matter, highlighting that there may be instances when he cannot fulfill hosting duties due to other commitments. This clarification aimed to dispel any lingering doubts or misconceptions regarding his continued involvement with Eat Bulaga.
