An old TikTok video of Teves irked some netizens
ARNIE TEVES JR. – The suspended Negros Oriental Representative stirred up a storm of criticism from netizens due to a TikTok video he posted in 2022.
The video, shared on the Facebook page “Ating Alamin Ang Totoo,” shows Teves seated while a few individuals can be seen behind him.
“Good evening. Ang dami ng lumalabas na issue sa akin ngayon, kaya nagsasalita na ako, aaminin ko na mayroon talaga akong mga tauhan, itong mga tauhan na ito kahit na ano pang sabihin ko nakikinig ‘to sa akine,” Teves stated in the video. “Boys may kukuhanin lang ako sandali, walang bubunot kahit ano pang mangyari ah,” he added.
After Teves leaves, the video reveals scattered makeup products and the people behind him scrambling to grab them. This did not sit well with some netizens, who expressed their discontent with the video.
Bhelle Llorca Allerite commented, “magpakita kna , wag kang matakot sa batas , kong malinis ang kalooban mo.” While Wilfred Agner Jr. wrote, “kung talagang wala kang kasalanan uwi ka na harapin mo ang kaso mo.”
It should be noted that Teves has been linked to the killing of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo. But according to him, he and his brother, former Negros Oriental Governor Pryde Henry Teves, are not involved in the assassination of the governor.

As of posting, Teves has yet to disclose his whereabouts. The Senate has yet to resume hearing on the case of the suspended politician as well.
