The cryptic message of Sara Duterte on Instagram
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines has sparked curiosity with an intriguing Instagram post.
The post, which states “Sa imong ambisyon, do not be tambaloslos,” has captured the attention of the media, who have sought clarification from Duterte’s staff. However, as of the time of press, no clarification has been provided.
The term “tambaloslos,” commonly used in the Visayan language, refers to an attack or insult on someone’s character, with some interpretations suggesting it means “stupid.” It is also associated with a mythical creature from Visayan folklore known for its large mouth and enormous male reproductive organ.
Duterte’s post comes in the wake of the removal of former President and incumbent Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo from her position as senior Deputy Speaker. She has been replaced by Pampanga Representative Aurelio Gonzales Jr., who hails from the same province.
These developments have unfolded amidst rumors of an alleged plot to oust Speaker Martin Romualdez, who is President Marcos’ cousin. It is worth noting that Arroyo has denied any involvement in attempts to remove Romualdez from his post.
Furthermore, it is worth recalling that Vice President Duterte resigned as the chairperson of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrat (Lakas-CMD) party, currently led by Romualdez, on May 19.
Apparently, the comment section of Sara Duterte’s Instagram post has been disabled, which makes it impossible to comment on her post.
