LJ Reyes’s ex-partner, Paolo Contis, has “no comment” on her engagement
PAOLO CONTIS – The actor chose not to comment on the news of his ex-partner LJ Reyes’ engagement to Philip Evangelista.
At press time, Paolo was occupied with shooting his new project, and when asked for his thoughts on the engagement, he opted for a “no comment” response according to PEP.ph. This reaction is understandable considering Paolo’s awareness that speaking up could invite negative comments from online critics who often target him.
LJ and Paolo had been in a relationship for six years and have a daughter named Summer Ayanna, who was born on January 4, 2018. In August 2021, LJ confirmed their separation, and subsequently, she and her children relocated to New York City. Aki, LJ’s child with actor Paulo Avelino, also accompanied them.
During a guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” in January 2023, Paolo openly admitted to being in a relationship with Yen Santos. Yen had long been suspected as a contributing factor to Paolo and LJ’s separation. The two actors developed their bond while working together on the film “A Faraway Land,” which was shot in the Faroe Islands of the Kingdom of Denmark from November to December 2020.
LJ’s fiancé, Philip Evangelista, remains unknown to the public as his Instagram account is private. Interestingly, it appears that LJ has had a recurring pattern of being involved with men whose names start with the letter “P,” including Paulo Avelino, Paolo Contis, and now Philip Evangelista.
