Content creator Laureen Uy: “Little did I know this was really the plan.”
LAUREEN UY – The content creator recently announced that she and her longtime partner Miggy Cruz are officially engaged.
The content creator shared that the marriage proposal of her boyfriend caught her by surprise as they were supposed to film a content for her vlog when her partner asked her hand in marriage.
The marriage proposal happened at the Joshua Tree National Park in California.
In a video posted on Instagram, the content creator can be seen getting invited by their group of friends to shoot the “Wes Anderson-inspired” videos on social media for their future content. At that time, Laureen had no idea that Miggy had something else in mind.
At the last part of the said video, Miggy can be seen coming towards Laureen as he knelt and popped the question to her.
“Oh, my God! Yes! I love you,” Laureen said in the video.
Friends of the couple congratulated them in the comments section of Laureen’s post – including Kryz Uy, Slater Young, Camille Co, Maja Salvador, Liz Uy, Coleen Garcia, Sarah Lahbati, Bella Racelis, and Michelle Dy, among others.

Laureen also posted a photo in a separate post on Instagram where she can be seen showing off her engagement ring. In the caption, she expressed her love for her partner and said that her now-fiancé “put a ring on it”.
Miggy and Laureen have been in a relationship since 2017. Currently, Laureen and Miggy are co-owners of the burger restaurant Hungry Homies and the trendy bar FLO All Day Drinking.
