Speaking of which, a man was caught on video breaking into a school in Zamboanga City and stealing various school equipment. CCTV footage showed a man entering the premises of Barangay Boalan Elementary School in the city around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

After 30 minutes, the suspect was seen leaving the school carrying some items. He crossed the street to wait for transportation. Upon inspection, teachers discovered that the padlock and doors of three Grade V classrooms were damaged.

Missing items were a laptop, netbook, two printers, three speakers, a laminator, and a projector belonging to the teachers’ club. The students’ contributions were also reported missing.

Within the school grounds, a printer and netbook were found, seemingly abandoned by the thief. The stolen items were estimated to be worth around P200,000. The police have obtained the CCTV footage for an investigation into the theft.
