Heart Evangelista Shares Lesson She Learned From Rough Patch With Chiz Escudero

Heart Evangelista: “It’s not just marriage but friendships as well and people you work with. But everybody goes through problems”

HEART EVANGELISTA – The Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations shared the lesson she learned from a rough patch with her husband Chiz Escudero.

It was last September 2022 when many speculated about Heart and Chiz splitting up when the actress-socialite admitted in a vlog post that she was “going through a lot of personal stuff” at that time. However, things have simmered down with the couple welcoming the year 2023 together.

The actress-socialite appeared on Friday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she spoke about a rough patch she recently went through in her marriage with the senator.

Heart said in an interview with Boy Abunda that people goes through problems.

I felt that as individuals, even if you’re married or committed to someone or a friend, you really have to go through certain things and deal with them alone and really ponder about what you want in life,” she said.

She also said that the nice thing about being in a marriage with the senator is that he’s always respected the many seasons in her life that she’s going through. For her, others should not expect her to fast-forward the chapters of her life just so she can understand where they’re at.

The Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations then pointed to their age gap and the fact that she’s a late bloomer. According to the actress-socialite, her husband is “supportive” and his love for her is “unconditional”.

In the same interview, Heart talked about motherhood and also opened up about the experience of losing her twins. She told Boy Abunda that she’s afraid of getting pregnant even though she’s married.

[But] even for a brief moment in my life, I realized that I can be a better person,” she said. “Not necessarily that you have to give birth or to physically be a mom, but the idea of what my angels made me feel — it was good enough for me.

She was also asked if she still wanted to be a mother. According to her, she didn’t know if she still want to.
